Have you ever opened your eyes
Seen that first light of day
Just wanted to crawl in a hole and die
Well thats how I feel today.
You know when everything is just messed up
And everything you do seems to go wrong
Your head crumbles with every thought
You forget where your coming from.
Let alone where your going
That is a distant mystery
Yesterday everything was fine
You controlled your destiny
Well like they say when it rains
It certainly does pour
Everything crashes down at once
Makes you wonder what your fighting for
It happens to the best of us
So i guess its just my turn
But I'm anticipating how it used to be
Its those days that i yearn
And how long will it take
For this negativity to pass
I try and convince myself its over
And that its all just in the past
But thats never the case
Things are never how they seem
I guess there's only one hope left
I have to hold onto my dreams
Cause my dreams are the one thing
This horrid world can't take away
And ill keep praying for a better tomorrow
Since things wont change today...
