Sorrow

April sings a sorrowful song
of lost birthday wishes.
It marks three years of long lost kin,
three full years "misses."
I miss you by my side,
your stories never old,
And now I yearn to hear
of those all left untold.
Now vacancy is where happy was,
which lessens less the pain of love.
