My Tree

by Maple Tree   Jan 1, 2013

I gaze to the sky
reaching far beyond
tips of your limbs,
for timber masks
the heart of
masculine design.

Flushed with
emotion,
my fingers
trace each
year you
have exhaled,
inhaling deeper
in depths
of your devouring
trunk.

Roots are strong
in leaves of
squelching
desire,
forever
in love
with the
tree
that holds
my heart~

That tree knows you inside out, I feel it, you've told that Tree everything, it has felt your tears, kept you warm, held you, and it is special to you...I know you're a nature lady, and it's beautiful.

    love and hugs
