The New Sunrise

by Timothy   Jan 1, 2013

1st Verse:

I'm not thinking about you, and I don't care,
That you're a thousand miles away from here;
You did me wrong, and I just can't let it pass,
I swore that heartbreak would be my last.

Chorus:

You can say forever, but it's just a pack of lies,
Because one day you'll wake up alone with the new sunrise;
But there's a tomorrow, with today's demise,
And I know somehow I will be all right with the new sunrise.

2nd Verse:

I know I am not fooling anyone with this tale,
Because living alone has become one epic fail;
Forgiveness should be in my heart, but I just can't see,
How you can face new sunrises without me.

Repeat Chorus:

You can say forever, but it's just a pack of lies,
Because one day you'll wake up alone with the new sunrise;
But there's a tomorrow, with today's demise,
And I know somehow I will be all right with the new sunrise.

The new sunrise
The new sunrise
How can you face the new sunrise?
