Batten Down The Hatches

by Andrew Packard   Jan 8, 2013

Batten Down the Hatches

Batten down the Hatches,
There's a storm up ahead.
Put up All Defenses,
Life's a War What She Said.

I can feel it swell'n,
Tidal wave out at sea.
Werewolves are a Howl'n,
Clips'n moons you can't Flee.

The whole Universe,
Grabs you by its Claws.
Like a mighty mind curse,
Forgotten Lore, Leading Cause.

Cover up your tracks,
Don't let them know where you've been.
Sentimental Heart Attacks,
Not the battle it's the War you must Win.

They have forced you Underground,
Foreboding this heavy Debt.
Something to Say? Not a Sound...
Are we having fun yet?
