They

by Love Hurts   Jan 22, 2013

There's a girl in the corner,
crying out all her tears.
Stones may break her bones,
but their words shattered her heart.
They left her here.
She believed they were different.
She trusted them with her spirit.
In return they broke it, snickering at her tears.
How could they just leave her here?
Always abandoned.
She cry's alone.
No arms of comfort.
No soothing words.
She keeps on falling
deeper into the hurt.
