Confession

Boiling rage
Hidden within
Sharp steel
Cutting deep
Till it breaks the skin
A thankful sigh
Escape bruised lips
Broken arms
Reach for help
But get slap away
By cruel words and harsh tones
The battle to stay alive
Haunts me everyday
But this and more
I hide so well.
