A Beautiful Disaster

by Amber Cochrane   Jan 28, 2013

Beautiful like storm clouds rolling by.
Beautiful like wind blowing before a approaching tornado.
Beautiful like lava flowing from a volcano before it erupts.
As Beautiful as the ocean pulling back before an approaching tsunami.
This is as beautiful as a approaching a disaster.
A disaster in which can destroy ones world in a matter of seconds.

How do you know when the disaster is approaching?
When your life begins to slip away piece by piece and
in the end all you are left with is a UGLY disaster.
A disaster in which could have been avoided if only you could avoid the beauty. A inside beauty of such magnitude and perfection only brings happiness and a sense of being!

Unlike knowing that when the storm clouds are rolling,
strong winds are blowing, meteors are falling, and
the lava is flowing, that a disaster is approaching, I felt completely opposite . I didn't feel as if a disaster was approaching or already happening.

But I knew it would, I'm not dumb nor naive,
and I knew I couldn't live that way forever.
It seems as if ALL beautiful things in my life come to a end,
sooner or later, and when it does my life spirals down quickly
into a UGLY DISASTER!

Should I have ran scared? Or held on as long as I could?
Let's see ~ ran scared and my life goes back to stormy and lonely every day ! Held on ~ my life sees sunny and happy days from time to time! I felt as if I should hold on, because I felt like I had nothing left to lose !

Its like the calmness of the sky before a storm breaks out and from what I gather here is the beauty of a relationship which was once alive just exploded and moved away leaving behind a wreck. Or maybe finding out something about the person which was never revealed..I like how you have penned this write mixing human feelings with nature...take care.
