Dawn!

The sun does rise
Before our eyes

As night gives way
To dawning day

The colors warm
From black and gray

To flood the sky
With light's array

And now the sun
Peaks from the haze

And slowly bathes
The land with rays

Its brightness blinds
Our eyes we shade

As dawn becomes
Another day
