Sky Fall

by Jerremy Newsome   Feb 18, 2013

Eyes they gaze, Eyes they stair
He sees no fault, entwined in her hair

Fingers wander in her maze, Fingers reveling to have touched such skin
No word of halt, caring for the journey simply wanting to begin

Time an ally to us all, Time yet still an enemy to our race
Light shines on her so bright, her lips he begs to trace

Embraced not caring if the sky should fall, Embraced like this most simply dream
Whisked away with the coming of each night, those hours pass in seconds or so it shall seem
