The Beauty of Who You Are

by TheDarkCloudBehindthePoet   Feb 22, 2013

Hair blacker than the darkest night,
Dancing to the song of the wind,
Eyes that can see the future,
Showing you when our life will begin,
Skin of Athena,
And beauty rivals Helen of Troy,
Your touch healing,
Never used to destroy,
Love stronger than Samson,
Lifts us higher because of you,
Thank you for always being there,
P.s. I love you.

So lovely! I'm whoever she is adored this :). You carve an image out of words of a very beautiful, innocent girl and it's clear that you care a lot about her from this poem! :)

Aww, this is such a sweet poem, it is very nicely worded with the metaphors and imagery for description and makes the love very unique and not so much cliche.

    Well done.
