Diamonds Of Hope

I have wished
upon every sleeping star
that is in the sky tonight,
wishing that I could ease your pain
and be your moonlight
through the darkness.

Wishing I could comfort you
in a warm embrace
that would make everything feel alright.
I even wished for them to whisper
lullabies inside your ear
so you could sleep away the pain.

Then I wished that in the morning,
the sun would appear with a smile for you
and a rainbow would shine
across your beautiful face.
Because through the night
these magic stars
have twinkled my love
inside your dreams
and sparkled your eyes
with diamonds of hope.

I wished on every single star
that I could find tonight,
that you would feel me
by your side
and know that I love you
with all of my heart.

    Awww This is just adorable girl. Seriously, it made me smile, it was almost like a cute love letter to someone with adorable metaphors that makes me want to snuggle with someone and feel the love!! lol

    Saffie this also shows how incredibly sweet you are...Because one can get wrapped up in the words of this, however you might miss the fact....you used all your wishes on this person. It was never about yourself, or what you wanted, it was what you wanted for this person. I thought that was so selfless, to use wishes on someone elses happiness.
