Cries and cuts

She pushes away anyone
who tires to care
she locks away the feelings
she runs from his emotions
until no one is around
then cries and cries and cries
until she has no more
tears left to cry
she has scars and cuts
too show how many times
she has tried
to let the pain out
but it doesn't work
all the pain, sorrow, frustration,
all the sadness gets
bottled up inside
she has tried to stop
tried to talk
but she cant it
feels so good the knife
cutting into her skin
watching the blood coming
out of her body she feels
as if she is in a paradise
her own little world
its as if she is addicted to it
no matter how hard she tries
she cant stop
some mornings she wakes up
crying because she never wanted
to wake up
she lies in her bed and
cries and cuts and cries and cuts
