There was a person i once knew
Was happy and cheerful
One day that person disapeared from my sight
I ran, looked everywhere
My tears shed for years, not giving up
The bottom of my feet stained in dirt and blood
My hope never withered
But my heart did
And in the end I disapeared too
When i awoke again i saw that person
Yet i only cryed
Because that person was not really there
Just a memory from when i was alive
How sad i felt
But i was happy too
At least one of us survived
And for the first time i thanked God
Even though i never believed in him before
