Our Destined Disaster.

by HappieMappie   Mar 17, 2013

Water dripping
from the sky's tears
swiftly accelerating
catastrophe is near
Lightning
striking with intensity
such fascinating
electricity
The rumble
that shakes the ground
causing us
to tumble down
piercing sirens
ring in my ears
the pounding rain
like racing deer
crackling of hail
bump my head
and now my fingers
glazed red
Suddenly dead silence
befalls the town
amazingly
there's no sound
Then there becomes
a faint wind
For we know
this is our end
This twisting funnel
is our fate
We will meet soon
at the golden gate.
