Laugh Line

Doing household chores,
allows me to sneak a peak
at the sweet laugh line
that cradles your face.

It wasn't there the day we met,
in time it grew larger
than any ocean,
wider than skies far an wide.

Laughter in our house is a
delicacy laced with kisses,
my lover; if you catch me staring
at you, it's surely because of
those lines, and my endless fluttering
of a heartbeat, each time you smile.

    Sigh** I love the bit about catching you stare at him, I find staring to be a gesture that can say so much....make us think so much...sounds like something that I could write about!
