THE PLEASURE OF MY HEART

by Joseph Harris   Mar 21, 2013

The pleasure of my heart
Comes through light over darkness
A rescued attempt
Through molten lava

It may have been good for me
Plainer than the trouble I see
At least I know
Times may be redundantly

But the power of grace
The wonder of it all
Is a precious stone
Not cherish by all

Yet even a fool will tell you
Its greater than platinum
Its worth immeasurable
A souls cherub

I will wing this glory
Not giving attention to pain
Attend to this celebration
My joy too great to be tamed

Hope I found,
Certainly once again
Renewal of strength
A victory over the battle within

So keep up the good work
Don't fault, not I
Cause the Redeemer lives
And watches over men
