Enchanted, As Never Before... (Retourne)

Charmed, I am Enthralled, with Fancy,
Raptured, Roused, in, Such Rhapsody,
Enchanted, as never before,
Intoxicated, Wanting More.

Raptured, Roused, in, Such Rhapsody,
Wowed, by you, Every Time, I'm Left.
Nothing, as such, Enraptures me.
Such Beauty, Splendor, you Possess.

Enchanted, as never before,
Lost, within, the magic, of you,
Engrossed, Transfixed, in an, Uproar,
Spelled, by your Each and Every Hue.

Intoxicated, Wanting More,
Captivated, by your Allure,
Lost, in your Wondrous, Ecstasy.
With Such Pleasure, you Enchant me.

Retourne: A Retourne is a French poetry form wherein repetition is used, employed. It consist of four quatrains (four-line stanzas), with each line having eight syllables. The trick is though that the first stanza's second line must also be the second stanza's first line, the first stanza's third line is the third stanza's first, and the first stanza's fourth line is the fourth stanza's first. Retournes can but do not have to rhyme.

As Always, your comments and votes greatly appreciated, thank you!!!

    Nice work, mister R.G.Love:)

I like that you have written it with less commas, it makes for easier reading.

This was enthusiastic as you always are about women and it brought a smile to my face, as your work always does!

    Well done on the format,

    5/5 Ingrid
