Insane? That I Am...

by Jaymi Lynn   Mar 29, 2013

Insane? that I am and I shall have it no other way.
Left to me, if it were, there'd be no night, only day,

For night is much too simple and far too tempting...
Left to you, if it were, life be as simple as breathing
and blissful as loving.

But it is not, and we are here, tangled in our web of
mischief; and it was wrong as you are wrong
but sweeter than a chorus of birds' summer song.

And I so I bid you good day, my joyous mistake, as I
perch from afar.
Insane? that I am but all the best people are...
