This Man Is My Father

by A   Mar 31, 2013

He looks at my scars in repulsion
I see the shame in his eyes
Wishing I wasn't his daughter
He forces himself to look at me
Yet his eyes reveal his uncaring feelings towards me
I look at him through tears and think this man is my father
I close my eyes to hide the pain in them
And I look away so he can't see the tears rolling silently down my face
