Take a piece of wood with a knot
By definition, that knot is an imperfection
A flaw in the wood
But, personally I find
knots to be extremely attractive,
They accent the work
And make it more appealing.
That little imperfection
Results in a beautiful thing,
Something that, by my definition,
Results in a perfect piece of art.
