That girl

by Fluffy Cotton   Jul 1, 2004

I had never really thought of my life involving you

Until one day I realized my love was misconstrued

I thought of you more often and began to fantasize

Of how great it'd be just to have you look into my eyes

I felt like I was floating and dancing through the air

With just one single thought of knowing that you cared

I guess throughout it all I never could really see

That the one you truly loved was someone other then me

This whole time as I had struggled over you

You had found a hobby, something else to do

By the time I realized of your vast love for her

I had built my self up so high, the crash I couldn't endure

I've been crying silently, the anguish broke my fall

And it seems unthinkable that you can't tell at all

I guess throughout this all I only have one thought

That you will always prosper even when I do not

Although my heart is torn into and you have drawn away

you will never know that I'm the girl you led astray
