Lost Worlds

by Andrew Packard   Apr 22, 2013

This world isn't what it should be
Marked by brokenness and inequality
Shattered Dreams
And deceptive schemes

Wisdom Itself doesn't know what it all means...

But inside an engine that drives
A Will that still strives
Against all odds
Twist and melt through the facades

The mind of the soul blots the canvas and perseveres...

Bringing what is not,
out of reality as if it were;
a cherished wish.

That wish is what
jump starts your very being
out onto the road
of what you call your own destiny.

Oblivious to what you are
Leaving behind....

Lost world... this world does feel lost... Like the old TV show, land of the lost... minus the dianosours... ha ha

Seriously, a deep and heartfelt piece... the ending is heart breaking...
