I really thought things would change
I thought you would go back to the mom I needed
But I have dad
He'd never leave me like you did

But now I know it won't be the same

No matter what I do , you'll never understand

I'd be stupid to ever believe in you again
I've learned that sometimes people are selfish and they leave
But I have also learned the people who really care, stay.
