Earth's Aquarium

by Daylight Lucidity   Apr 22, 2013

See how the bay brushes against the grains of snowy white sand
Granting the world serenity with its delightful presence
Stroking the beach with reflections of its waves as if a gracious hand
Saving us all from life's bittersweet love and hate paradox.
Like Earth's aquarium, the sea houses the most delicate of creatures
From the ferocious great white sharks to the timid sponges of the sea
An unseen chain of dominance spread throughout the floor's intriguing features
Such as the rocks, the coral, the little sea stars, amongst animals swimming and playing.
See the bubbles rising from the depths of the beautiful aquamarine that is water
See how the birds glide over its surface and enjoy the fish and seaweed that tickle their feet from below
Seeing the sunset upon its horizon only makes leaving that much harder
For the sea is like a second home to me, one that no one can take, one that I will never show
As it is the Earth's aquarium, a hidden haven for all of Earth's creatures who seek its graceful asylum
And wish to reside in luxury on its shores of soft, warm sand
To where the trees bow to it, as if it were their sire,
And to where there are no questions, no answers, but only greetings and splendors waiting to be explored upon precious land...
Dive into the blue gold that is cool and welcoming, the water that beckons to you,
Enjoy its never ending embrace, dear friends, respect the life within,
You can never find another home, another place, so desirable, nor so unique in its beauty,
As you will while wading through
The Earth's aquarium.
