Beginnings

Mountains may never slither through slim cracks,
And perhaps the wind's howling will never cease to a hush
But I've known the moon, thrived on it upon first sight,
After days of being acquainted with the blazing sun
And oh! what a dream, what a relief to see
That life had finally begun...
