You look at me,
And I stare back
You caress my cheek,
But I don't react
Am I really everything you've dreamed of ?
Or are you that blinded by love ?

I don't have great patience,
And I like to pick fights,
You tell me you love me regardless
Cause I brought you back to life,
You say in the dark
That I am your light,
But I'm not as perfect as you think I am

You want me to be stable
You need me to be strong,
But I have to know that when I'm wrong
You won't leave me in despair

I don't talk a lot
And I think I'm better off alone
But I do know right here,
In your arms, I am home

Right here,
You've been wiping away the tears
I never noticed,
But I've been fighting your fears
Don't you ever wonder
If I'll be right here tomorrow
Just understand,
I'm not as perfect as you think I am

    This piece is adorably sweet!! By the way you wrote it all down, you describe yourself perfectly well in this piece..

    - You're not just describing yourself here, I can see that. You're also describing how you would react in a relationship and patience is something that you lack. That's cute.

    "You tell me you love me regardless
    Cause I brought you back to life,"

    - Omg. I really love this two lines.. Means your partner is really blessed for having you in their life cause it is stated that you brought them back to life. I really adore these lines!

    "You say in the dark
    That I am your light,
    But I'm not as perfect as you think I am"

    - Now this is their lovely way of saying that they love how you're always down for them no matter what, that even in darkness, you are their light.. And perfection, is hard to be define when we're in a relationship..
