Playing with the time of a dying heart

by DyingWolf   May 3, 2013

Time lost the battle against this heart,
this dying heart took another blow.
This time is not love is just a new art,
that art of loving and dying slow.

Time, you silly old heartless timer.
Look! Look what happen this time!
The wolf doesn't care about her,
he just want to be alone like a old mine.

Is this what it cost to change for love?
Loose every single soul for one?
Is this really what he owns; No Love?
Or is this a game to play with no one?

This wolf is alone and already tired...
Already lost so many time....
And still felling the non-burning fire,
Of the dying heart of a wolf without Time.

    I like it.

I like the emotion in the piece. It is emotional and deep and it is rather easy to relate to.

I love the rhyme as well. I am a sucker for rhyming poems that have a deeper meaning behind it.
A lot of the time rhyme adds a comical sense but yours has a very... deep and sophisticated appeal to it. Nicely done.

It flows pretty well and enjoyable :)
