Falling Body

by Ping Madriago   May 7, 2013

Since the day that I met you
I knew that this familiar feeling is true
But I didn't take this seriously
'Coz scientifically, I'm like a falling body

Knowing you was an instance of serendipity
It made me feel like I wasn't pulled by gravity
Because when I found myself loving you unknowingly
I knew that I was stuck momentarily

Here I am, still not moving, still hung up
Or should I say, I am temporarily stopped?
For I don't even know the truth
If you love me in return 'coz you remain mute

Then you frankly told me you don't like me
Who would ever think it would be that easy?
Sadly, you weren't there to catch me
So I took the fall and said, "I'm indeed a falling body."
