The Loss Of Friend in War

by ChaoticStreamOfLife   May 14, 2013

The period of his boyhood growth
Was through times of vile hatred
Suppressed into his innocent despair
He grasped onto the war of absolute
With bullets to form the man he is
The boy swiped by vengeance of war
And the man within became of him.
The vivid haunts of fury flames
Applying all survival to rescue
And preserve the near life he knew
All his strength he yielded to save
Yet, there his friend's life was slipped
The guilt retracts in every step
But to all, you remain a hero, indeed
Yes, a hero.
A hero for your selfless effort.
The scars of fire upon your soul
Signify the courage you present
