Slipping Away

by phantasticstarkid   May 14, 2013

She lives a life of sorrow
She lives a life of dread
She lives a life where thoughts of death
Always consume her head.

Everyday she makes
Another scar upon her arm
No one seems to understand
The need she has to self-harm.

She needs to see the blood
Dripping to the floor
It makes her scream in agony
But at the same time she wants more.

She lives in this world of darkness
The pain growing everyday
Her scars are growing more frequently
She's slowly slipping away.
