She was beautiful.
The way her hair hung down her proud neck
And she moved with grace in every step
And her eyes,
they bloomed into starlight
When he would arrive home from work
He was lovely
The way his strength exuded from his being
And he walked in sturdy footsteps
And his heart
Would beat much faster
When he saw his beautiful love
They were wonderful
They way they brought such a small being into the world
And held her throughout her troubles
And they knew
they had raised their little girl properly
When they drove away
Leaving her with boxes at the foot of a new life
