Bring to life
These beautiful creatures
Beings we have dreamt up
In tales of heroes and villains

Give spirit to
These fairytale beings
Of which we long to imitate
Though our souls do not allow

We are all caught
In a story of our own
Some write theirs with woe
Others, with the light of joy

But no matter how
We bring our selves to life
Give ourselves spirit
We are all still
