Artist's Grove [collab]

by Daylight Lucidity & ThebutterfliesMuse   Jun 26, 2013

Golden fields of honey painted wheat
Dance to the songs of fragile cardinals;
Patches of roses bloom red like blushing cheeks,
Glistening under skies of magenta.

Painted skies heal my ruptured heart
As the majestic stars light the way.
When I close my jaded eyes
My mind is calm and I feel tranquil.

If only I could trail my fingers
Through their fluid, crystal clear, body
A different world erupting with every sunset
Paving the way to happiness' grove.

A grove in which I call my home
Nestled by its warm embrace.
A rainbow of emotions color through me
leaving me blissful by its beauty.

Waters cascading from mountains,
Clouds drifting past a pink moon
Leaving me to frolic
In my beautiful little space.

    Aww I love this. The imagery is absolutely amazing.

    "Golden fields of honey painted wheat
    Dance to the songs of fragile cardinals;
    Patches of roses bloom red like blushing cheeks,
    Glistening under skies of magenta."

    I have no idea what to say to that.... You have a way with words and it paints such a fragile and beautiful picture. Amazing.

    It flows nicely and again, imagery is amazing.
