Disaster

by Daylight Lucidity   Jul 17, 2013

Daring little flames jump across leaves and branches
Igniting every inch of forest and engulfing myself with it
Salvaging nothing, no remains are visible within the
Ashes of my body and my home. Terrifying images caught on camera by a neighbor
Searched by law enforcement officers, finding no evidence of arson, just a fatal mistake by one teenage girl
Trying to light a candle too close to a curtain. It roared up so quickly that she had no time to escape,
Entrapped in the confines of the living room. The clean up a morbid scene for family and friends being
Reassured and comforted by random strangers as they sob and shudder at the sight of this awful disaster.
