Wash It Away

by XxxWordsOfWisdomxxX   Jul 18, 2013

We stand;
We fall.
We fight,
We crawl.
The rain is falling,
But I don't mind.
It's touch is familiar,
Soft and kind.
The water runs,
Washing blood away.
Cooling the burn,
Just another day.
Darkness falls,
Lulling me to sleep.
Memories pull,
They pull me in deep.
I don't want to fall,
So I just won't stand.
Leave me here,
I don't want your hand.
A heart is a heart,
Until it breaks.
Won't it stop beating,
For my own sake?
I let the rain bury me,
In it's cold arms.
Just a few more moments,
Should do no harm...
