Dispossession

by Larry Chamberlin   Jul 29, 2013

I disincorporated before anyone else
caught even a glimpse of a wink
in the fabric of the universe.

Tyler shook his head miserably
distressed by my latest black promise.
But after all, what am I to do?
His nasty invasion of the soul arena
put me on his trail to protect my home.

This mystery stalker attempted
to coerce my family with his stupid salt
and elaborate pentagram drawings.

I think he is losing grip of sanity
which would not bother me so much
if he did not have my Aunt Lamia
in a binding contract to keep him alive.

How do I release my demon aunt
from this human's enthrallment?
