I just don't know what happened
To the way I felt for you
Things use to be so great
I believed it was real and true

I use to be excited to see you
And went crazy if you said my name
But now part of me feels trapped
Things just don't feel the same

Because today I realized that I wasn't me
I had changed my life to fit you
Today I realized that we were going nowhere
Our "talk" was way past due

Today I realized that you don't really care
And that "we" have faded away
Today I realized that we were two different people
And so there's no more reasons for me to stay

    I love this. Each stanza is really strong and it fits so well together.

    I like the foreshadowing in the beginning, how it feels like there is a problem but the reader is not 100% of what it is yet. I like it. Sets the tone for the whole piece.

    I love rhyming poems... I do. And the rhyme here seems effortless and works well. The flow is great, I like the topic. Really lovely.

    It's amazing, actually, how quickly feelings can change. Truly. Get so caught up in someone that you don't notice any changes until you stop to look at it. Nicely touched on here.
