Hidden feelings

The day you said you no longer loved me,
My heart broke into a million pieces
But I stayed strong
And said I didn't love you either

For awhile I had everyone convinced,
And we were all happy
But soon someone discovered I was lying
And that person was me

When you said my name my heart would skip a beat
And when you touched my shoulder I shivered.
I had finally told myself my darkest secret,
I was still in love with you.

Your blue eyes and brown hair
The way you always look down when you smile
I bet I'm the only one who notices that,
The only one who loves that

I told myself that I would tell you what you mean to me
But I have yet to do it
I've typed the words out so many times
But yet never manage to hit send

Your voice alone makes me smile
Even when your talking to 'her'
What I would give to hear your voice say "I love you"
Or even speak my name like you did before

Every night I lay awake thinking about you
Imagining that your doing the same
And in my head I tell you what I know will never happen
I love you, and want you back in my arms

This is dedicated to the first boy I ever had real feelings for, should I tell him he still means something to me?

    Ok to answer your question. I think you should tell this person how you feel. Your heart does seem to shatter when you dont feel loved back. We I think all go through this at some point in our lives. Its great you stayed so strong though. I love the way you started this though because you get right to the point and you put your heart out there. That makes you stronger thanyou think. I hate when you realize that you still love that one pperson and you said you were happy fora while but the ffeelings are still there no matter what you do. I love the characters in the third stanza. The one you love seems to make your heart melt inside and his touch is your temptation. And you know or your heart knows you are still in love.

    I love in the fourth stanza you describe his hair and eyes its a sutble thing that works so well here. I love you portray him as shy. I think love makes you that way when your heart is in love. Also when you are in love. Nothing seems to bring you down at all. Its hard to tell anyone how you feel at all. We seem to always play the scene out in our heads over and over again but never know the true words to say. We always want to hear I love you it makes our hearts happy and our brain scream out in delight. :) the ending I love because you show how much you truly love him and you just want to be in his arms and feel that closeness that only love can make you feel. 5/5

    I dont know if it is a question for no answer but i suggest you tell him what you feel if not it will end hurting you
    also i belive you poem is great it really touched me and i will like if ypu could give me you mail addres so i can share with you somo words and ask you opinion about a poem i wrote
