Punched By A Nymph

by Ridge   Aug 26, 2013

Why could I not snag a date with a nymph ?

Your bathing smile, cool and white, connects perfectly with mine
And while you hover above, perfectly fine
I'm depressing through space and time

Why can't you realize that I can change your mind ?

I can predict that the lofty sun bequeaths our days bright utterance
That the air is warm, the earth submits to regal sky
I walk alone down a pavement dry every night

Why can't you see us in a scenery ?

Joyfully I meet you anywhere
those emotions hunter me for higher fare,
they've smitten me with courage because I care

What if I unveil my honesty would you mend me ?

The night is cool and I walk alone down this same pavement
Up above the the blessed sky that I love
And yet I still sigh
