I'm trying to look through stained glass,
But it's too colored for me to see.
It looks like it's been stained over many times,
To prevent people from looking in.
I just want to catch the tiniest glimpse
Of what's on the other side.
Windows are made to look through,
What are you trying to hide?
Though the stained glass looks rather pleasant,
I'm not convinced that the inside's the same.
Please open it, just a little.
Show me what inside looks like.
You've got to let in a little sunlight.
You've got to let in some air.
Keeping those windows closed isn't good ffor you.
Let me be your breath of fresh air.
Don't make me smash that pretty little window.
I'll make the glass come shattering down.
I just want to know what is inside,
I'll do whatever it takes.
If I can't look through this window,
And you won't open it for me.
This window is more like a wall,
Meant to keep people outside.
If windows are made for looking,
But you won't show what's inside,
And I can't smash this window down,
Then I'll move to the next one now.
I'm not in this to play with another wall.
I want to see what's inside.
So open your window, let me in.
Or I'll kiss this window goodbye.
