Masked

The vibrant colored Beach Ball
inflated
drowning in the water
its colors refracted
changed
forcing itself there
pressured
for acceptance of a disguise

    Hello Sophia,

this really should have been commented on by now...

Your beach ball metaphor is a new one on me and that is cool. The bright colours vivid, in your face, meant to attract and be noticed. Many of us fall into the trap of wearing masks to 'fit in' or to disguise who we are. Either way it is sad when the person beneath is unhappy. I say, wipe the vivid stripes away and walk with a head held high.

    Well done Sophia.

    Take care and keep writing.
