The caterpillar

by Alice   Sep 26, 2013

What do caterpillars do?
No thin much but chew and chew...
What do caterpillars know?
Nothing much but how to grow!
It just eats and eats by and by,
Till it becomes a butterfly!
But that's not more than I can do,
How much ever I chew and chew!

You know, call me crazy, but I think this poem of yours kinda sounds like one written by a.a Milne. Keep up the good work!

There are a couple of small errors here. In the second line no thin should be nothing and the last line should read how ever much I chew and chew as it would make more sense that way I feel.

I liked this poem too it is cute and the way you decribed the caterpillar is great. I can see the simple imagery play out here. I think caterpillars are so underrated as they turn into something so beautiful. I love writing about butterflies as they br ing so much to thr table. I can see or think here that you are a caterpillar and you want to turn into a butterfly someday. I think people can be if they tried and are already butterflies. But this really is a cute people that has so much deeper meaning. 5/5
