State Of Entirety (Shakespearean Sonnet)

by Smaccams   Oct 29, 2013

Define the right of man; to feel Entire.
To be content with the presence of soul,
Streams of vitality, hope to set fire.
Yet the tales of great Midas, are untold.
One must accustom to His surrounding,
Before seeds may be sowed by a milestone.
The Garden can not be bought for a ring.
For triumph resembles more than a throne.
Again the greedy attempt business,
To cheat virtue till the mighty Gates end.
Little they know life is not a mistress;
You can not please for what to apprehend.
Paths authentic and control to sustain,
Entirety in emotion; not in vain.
