His Little Girl

by Jennifer   Nov 21, 2013

She sits in her room
A tear in her eye
She always wonders
Why he said goodbye

A new family to raise
Another to be forgotten
Why does life go this way
Treating the good so rotten

Missing her old life
With a now lonely heart
He will never know
How her world fell apart

But she will cope
With each day
His little girl
Will be okay

  • That was a good poem, It was short but it told the story quite well. At least what I got from it, it was relatable. Really good work.
