I Speak Through The Wind

by Free Spirits   Nov 28, 2013

I could close my eyes, I could taste the wind
To absorb the melodies of optimism within my captive thoughts
But I challenge myself to view the world through open eyes.
For once in my life, my voice isn't shivering behind a clammy window pane,
It's billowing through autumn trees and being carried to your heart
An imagination evolving from a subtle yawn to roar throughout the universe
So don't mistake me for a strayer; I'm a dreamer who dares to have a voice.
