Spirits That Roam

by Free Spirits   Jan 23, 2014

I read once that our
ancestors are the wolves
that thunder after nightfall,

howling to the moon
fuels a spark that
makes my heart go wild.

Their ancient voice
carries a message
of the aged twilights,

yet I don't pretend to understand
the way they move
or what they intend to tell me.

Instead I wrap myself
in the mystery
that cloaks every myth

and I continue to feel
the presence of their spirits
that echo through the air around us.

Each stanza is written by a club member and goes in order as followed:

Hannah Lizette
Beautiful Soul
Amreen
Tara Kay
Lemon
Baby Rainbow
