I Bleed For Her

Like ice melting,
her breaking skin shrinks with every touch
Her fingernails clawing against concrete
and rotten walls
her shrieks cutting the silence in half

I can hear her breathing my name
blowing death with kisses in the wind;
punching shotgun shells into the walls
and spitting bullets like words

Her teeth are crooked,
her smile collapsed a long time ago
somewhere around the time when she
traded her angels for dead dreams
and strangers broke through her gates

But not even the walls of Babylon could keep me
from letting myself in
No army of dying dreamers
could ever wish my sentiments away

And though her nightmares opened up my veins,
and I still bleed
There are strangers inside my body,
their voices echo,
and I still bleed

She's sleeping while awake,
dancing between reveries and bad dreams
Loving the sensation of hating herself,
she prays for a resolution
But I still bleed

She's building an AK-47 out of suffering,
getting ready to mow down every last one of you monsters
until our entire species knows what it means to be human
until the delusions of happiness are thoroughly killed,
and I still bleed for her.

I like your voice in your poems more like story type yet your voice draws me. In this one I like the repetition of I bleed for her... I think it worked pretty well.
