A New Beginning

by The Fallen Angel   Jan 20, 2014

Way far from the light,
I stare to see a figure,
as dark as pitch black.
I walked a bit further,
and gazed through
the layers of fog,
only to see it budge,
for, all I could feel
within me was a nudge.
But my legs felt numb,
and hands ice-cold,
and my breath
choked up till my throat.
But I took all the courage,
just to have a closer look.
Then to my surprise-
I saw the form dwindle,
and then vanish into the air,
for a ray of light to emerge-
a ray of hope,
a ray of joy,
a ray of love,
a ray of faith,
for a new beginning.
