Fear

by Dominique Lewis   Jan 21, 2014

My biggest fear is losing you,
Losing the best thing in my life,
Losing you is like getting the flu,
All I wanted was to be your wife.

Shaking hands and my body trembling from fear,
Hoping that I won't loose you...my baby,
Can't you see that I will be nothing without you dear,
Maybe I will be able to get through this...only maybe.

Tears flowing when you stop talking to me,
Sobs breaking the silence in my empty room,
I stare at the screen waiting for a response...to be filled with such glee,
Losing you is my biggest fear...this will lead me to my doom.

Curled into a tight ball with tears flooding down,
Being a small turtle going back into its shell,
I look at the screen once more as my smile turns into a frown,
I allow the devil to drag me to hell.

The only mistake I saw was loosing should be losing.

Otherwise I loved the message of this poem overall because of the emotion you feel here. You putit all out there on paper and your heart hurts. The tone is great and consistent throughout. The wording is great as well because it works well with what you were trying tossay. You lost this person in your life and it seems like you loved them a lot. It's really difficult but it will be okay because we all heal. Great write

Thank you for telling me that part -.-" I kept get confused on that part. And thank you for that James. I was waiting for my boyfriend to respond to me and it hurt because I didn't know what happened to him. I waited and waited...with each passing moment the fear got so much worse.
